Steam Sale - EU4 75%, most DLC 50% off. Aside from Golden Century, every DLC is 50% off. Go get em. If you don’t have Art of War, that’s definitely a must. Other than that, Common Sense and El Dorado are pretty vital. If you want any others, I’d recommend Mandate of Heaven and Cradle of Civilisation are pretty good.

Are canals worth it? While a cool feature, and saving the time and effort to go all around South America, Africa (and Denmark woo), canals seem like they are not even close to worth building. With constant negative events occurring and an upfront cost of 20,000 ducats, it simply doesn't seem worth going through the canal-building process for

The eldorado dlc collection - 2.8 euros. Art of war collection- 5 euros(it is the current price there) Common sense collection - 5 euros. So you will get entire europa universalis 4 base game+ all dlc collection except mare nastrum ,cossacks and 1 or 2 music packs for 25 euros
However, Leviathan is still expensive for an eight-year-old game, even when compared to Europa Universalis IV 's other DLC. The expansion costs $20.00 on Steam, with the other expansions usually going for anywhere between $5.00 and $15.00. As reported by Kotaku, the manager of the studio behind Leviathan 's development sent out a response to Right now on Steam there is a sale and it lists the Extreme edition (the base game and also some DLCs that cannot be bought separately IIRC) at 11.24 with a 75% discount, and the rest of DLCs at 183.71 with a 50% discount on each. So normally it would be 45 for the extreme edition + 367.42 for all DLCs = 412.42$.

If you do a search online you’ll find videos and articles of people doing a comparison of the various DLCs and what they contribute, and this can help you with choosing what to buy. Some DLC, like Art of War, are considered indispensable from a mechanics standpoint. Others are very region and nation specific in terms of what they bring into
The Ottomans in 1444 are a regional power, in the process of securing control over Anatolia and the Balkans. In the east, Ottoman control has been reimposed in the aftermath of the Timurid invasion, but several beyliks remain independent. These Beys jockey for a position between the expanding power of the Ottomans on one side, and the Mamluk
The only two mandatory ones are art of War and common sense, you basically can't play the game without these two. mattpla440. • 3 yr. ago. They did move dev to base game as well as gov reforms from Dharma and estates from Cossacks. r/eu4. the thing is: without dlc there are some actions that you cannot do (or cannot do in a timely manner and have to wait 95 years in game) which makes absolutely no sense or make the game just painful to play. simple example is the favor mechanic for wars. triple_cock_smoker. • 1 yr. ago.
