The ecu controls the timing for when the injectors open, meaning the pump is simply supplying the high pressure fuel to them. The older tddi engines the pump was timed to ensure the correct order.

Used reconditioned Injectors - Although these could all be from the crappy siemens batch that is faulty to start with and nearly the same price as new 4. Buy a used set of injectors from a breakers yard from a 2007 / 2006 ford focus and swap them over at a cost of £220 plus labour ?

The glow plugs are controled by the PCM (powertrain control module)it behind the left front wheel, remove the wheel arch liner and the pcm cover. it will have to be programed by ford if you replace itif you think that this is the problem with your car then the best thing to do is take it ford for reprograming or

Posted September 2, 2021. Hello all, im back after a little break from fords with a beaut of a car, 2.2 ST tdci but I bought it cheap because it’s broken. The ad said it had a airlock in the fuel system but based on some looking into it. It looks like the fuel pumps gone which seems like a regular fault on these.
